Kiana is an 8th grader from LA. When she comes to Greenwich, she is only there for a limited amount of time. When her papers get mixed up, she heads to the SCS-8 class. In SCS-8 there are a bunch of misfit kids and a teacher who everyone has given up on. Kiana realizes that they are more than just a bunch of misfit kids. Kiana helps their teacher Mr. Kermit get back into teaching after a cheating scandal over 20 years ago.
